I am going to the movies tonight and want to play footsie with somebody.My out fit is a white blouse with a brown cordurouy skirt and suede clogs.What color hose do you recomend?I was contemplating and opaque brown autumn stocking?

Whether stockings or tights, it's the part that shows that matters. If you're not wearing sheer nylons, stockings or tights that match the color of your shoes or skirt look nice. In this case, since the shoes and skirt are the same color, go for brown. What you had in mind sounds good, or if you want to add a little accent, maybeTEXTURED brown.

That sounds perfect. For stockings it is always good to go with some sort of brown or neutral color. And always always wear them when you wear an sort of suede or leather shoe, because the smell of sweaty leather is disgusting. lol.

wouldn't wear 'stockings' - would wear tights and if you can find a cute pair with some sort of design that would look fun and break up the 'solid white'/ brown combo - maybe some argyle design? if not I'd go with brown - but be careful there are several browns.....
