First, how is it that "Tennisgu..." is the only person in this room with less than 2 thumbs down? I had my wife look at his response to and his response doesn't even match the question. I could see if he had given people thumbs down in the room but he'd be unable to give 2. Does he have two identities in here or is there a friend of his that is handing out thumbs up.

I mean it's the worst answer here.

It depends on what you mean by "create." It could be said that creativity is nothing more than pairing. For example a purple mountain does not exist but i can imagine "purple" and I can imagine "mountain, both of which exist already. It is by putting ideas together that already exist that we "create"

I think the real creative process therefore is in the perception because the color "yellow" exists nowhere except in the mind. It's a reactive realization to the things outside the mind that we perceive. It's truly unique. This too, though, if you believe in a creator is not ours to take credit for.

But in machines, that have the ability to "perceive" things that we haven't been designed to be able to perceive i believe this is truly our creativity. A night vision goggle for example. It perceives light that is invisible to us, but by pairing things already created threw a process not so dissimilar to creating the "purple mountain" we then create a medium by which to realize something totally unique.

In my opinion, we dont create. What we do is invent, and we invent thanks to the association of ideas. Here it comes the experience. For example, in order to invent a mermaid, we have had to see a fish and a woman, so in our minds we associate those two ideas and "invent" a mermaid.
Everything we invent, we invent it because we associate ideas of things previously seen by our eyes, I think. Thats why imagination is so important for the advance of sciences..

Edit: procreation is also an association of ideas. "It is the association of an egg and a sperm.

Friend,

Humans can never create a newthing with life. They can create gadgets that do some work and help the humanity like Monitors in ICU etc.Definitely they can create or manufacture such mechanical or electrical gadgets.

There is a saying. What ever a man does , it is an imperfect imitation of Nature. That may be true.

They neither create nor recreate but procreate.

-- it is just as a reproduction process because nature wants to procreate through you, because nature knows you are going to die. You are not permanent; before you die nature wants that life to continue.

We were created in the image of God.
We only recreate what has already had a 'mold' made for it.

We create humans as each one is a distinct individual. They are all original and there is no other exactly like them.
