if you want people to pay you - you need to have a credible site!
This does not mean free!!
for less than $40USD or £30 UKP you can have a domain and hosted per year...
If your hosting and site looks cheap - many will stay away - remember a website is a shop window - fill the window with junk and many people will not visit!!
A website is not only your shop window - it is much of your advertising. Therefore this needs investment - sound (appropriate) investment.
If you must go free then use something like facebook if B2C or if B2B try space @ businessballs.com
