I'm guessing the $100 in cartridges will give you magnificent quality colour and would probably last quite a while.
But it depends on what you need the printer for. Unless you specifically need a colour laser printer, best to return it and get an Ink Jet printer.

Yes, they are expensive.
But they put out better quality and alot more prints.
They make Re-manufactured toners that are less but I've never used them.
If you don't want the cost ...see if you can trade it for a Ink Jet printer instead.
If its unopened and you have receipt or gift receipt it shouldn't be a problem.
If you don't ask the person that gave it to you for it. They should be ok with it because I'm sure they rather you be happy then keep a gift you don't like...

Man, what a machine. Yes, the cartridges are around 80 dollars each. If you are not in buisness just return it and buy a regular inkjet printer. You're redy to go in less than 100 dollars.

I never heard of any ink cartridges costing a $100 each. If this is true, when the ink runs dry, I certainly would throw it out.

what a pity...manufactures rip you off, that's life..
best thing to do is get you're self a black and white laser printer, that way you can print over 2500 pages for around $40.00. and use the colour printer for special things or take it back to the shop for a refund....

nicely acquire it on a zip stick from a friends computing gadget, then carry it with you to the computing gadget you like it on. Plug it into the computing gadget and shipment it. If youdon't have rights to place in, then discover somebody who does. They whould desire you to be waiting to print.
