Hi,
There's gonna be a few questions, so if you could read ALL of the stuff below and answer then that would be great! :)
I have a 29 gallon and currently with 6 female bettas, 1 3 1/2" bristlenose pleco, and 4 bronze corydoras. I have a heater that is adjustable but I have it set to 76F and I have an external whisper power filter that has 30-55 gallon gph rate. I have a ton of plastic plants, a small chunk of driftwood for my pleco, and some live java moss growing on the driftwood. I also have three large rock hideouts I made with aquarium glue and rocks that were boiled and cleaned w/out soap. Anyways, here are the questions.

#1. I was thinking about getting some more fish and I wanted to know if I could get four emerald cories along with some more female bettas?

#2. If I could get 4 emerald cories with some more female bettas, how many more bettas can I get?

#3. I always loved emerald cories because they seemed like bigger bronze cories w/ a greenish tint, so therefore

#4. What are some fairly easy to care for/common/cheapish surface/floating plants that can survive on some natural sunlight and the tank light?

#5. What are some easy to care for/ fairly common plants that grow to about a foot long that can also survive on little sulight?

Thanks So Much!!!
Feel free to add any other advice!!!
btw, I check my water chemisty (pH, Hardness, Alkalintiy, Nitrite, Nitrate) weekly and adjust it as neccessary

I feed the cories shrimp pellets ad the bettas tetra flake food along w/ the occasional treat of bloodworms. The pleco eats whatever it wants, the flake pellets, and alagae

In a tank that size, you've got more than enough room for four more Cories, and probably four more Bettas if you wanted. The Emerald Cories will shoal with your other Cories (which makes a fabulous display as they root through the substrate in unison), and may even breed with them (though mixing two different "types" of the same species isn't really recommended). Water Sprite and Anacharis/Elodea are two great, easy-to-care-for floating plants, and they can also be planted in the substrate. For planted plants, Banana Plants are interesting, simple plants that will provide "lounging" areas for your Bettas (their wide leaves make great cushions). Java Fern, Cryptocoryne beckettii, wendtii, and many other Crypt species would all be great choices as well, and would eventually form amazing thickets. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

EDIT: Your feeding and water changes sound perfect except for one thing: "leftovers" might not be enough for your Pleco. Consider a good algae wafer wit spirilulina for their staple diet...

The question of whether you is yes, you have adequate cories for that tank so you actually dont need more. the emeralds will do fine with your bronze but remember to supply a tablet food to feed all your bottom feeders and when you get more fish remember that this means more fish waste is being produced so you should do your water changes more often..
more female bettas aren't a problem but cleaning the tank will be.
As for plants that float with low light conditions it pretty much starts and ends with water sprite that stuff will grow everywhere. you could try frogbit if you can find it though, the bettas love to swim in the roots.
good luck
