multithreading in computer games?

Question

I just installed a dual core processor into my computer and I was wondering if there was anything I had to do to make my games recgonize it. I have Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Bioshock, and The Orange Box, all games I heard use multithreading. So would there be a setting or something I need to change, or should it happen automatically?

Nothing need to be done. They will automatically utilize both cores.
