Hey lazy...! Seriously you should think of religion, technology, society among others. Will China and India be the major powers, and will that affect daily life? Will there still be cars, trains etc....What about family, will people still marry? I think you should write your essay, but now you got some hints.

Petrol prices will be sky high as we run out of fossil fuel. This will mean the price of everything else being extremely expensive causing poverty. There will be much fewer cars on the road because of the expense of buying and running a car. Domestic flights will be greatly reduced. There will be a huge gap between the rich and the poor. Most will be very poor. In such curcumstances there will be increased crime, alcoholism and drug abuse. The weather systems will increasingly destabalize causing droughts and floods. The authorities won't even attempt to tidy up the aftermath of these events in suburb and inter city areas, so creating slums around the cities. Rural towns in America will become isolated since interstate travel is far less frequent due to the expense of fuel. There will be massive overpopulation and resulting disease. Most of the wealth and technology will belong to an ellite that will stay distanced from the population. At this point they are riding high and enjoying life, imune to what is happening on the street level. But by half way through the next century even the life styles of the rich ellite will collapse along with Western civilization. People will beg for the end of the world and the return of Christ. The world will not end. This will be a time of terrible crisis, many will die and many minor wars will errupt all over the world. Holy men, genuine or otherwise will also start to appear. 2050 AD will be the beginning of this era. Man will survive, but we will experience centuries of suffering. We will overcome.

When you see what has happened with the computer in the last twenty years, it is hard to imagine another forty plus years. I see a checkless and cashless society. My car already slows down on cruise when there is a car in front of it and has GPS. Some can now park themselves, so I see no need to drive. Just punch in the destination, and the car will drive itself as we work or play on our laptop. Voice commands will be all over the place; the car, the computer, appliances, etc. so you won't really punch in the destination, you will tell the car where to go. I could go on, but that is a pretty good start. Use your imagination, and take it from there.

Not sure I understand your question. Are you wondering what life will be like in 2050? Or are you supposed to write an essay on what you think it will be like? Just let your imagination go wild and make it fun. Good Luck and God Bless

No fossil fuels, environment friendly, more sex, more respect for other sexual orientations, furthermore, there will probably be a more efficient means for getting from point a to be, then car and plain such as magnetic maglev trains all over the place.

Write it from the perspective of a Mad Max type environment. Or, if you will, a post nuclear holocaust.
