In the catagory of duh.....and no sh*t departments, is the fact that it is being reported that the majority of al Qaeda are no longer in Iraq. Well when they are in Pakistan where the US cannot go because Pakistan is an ally to the US and the Pakistanian government harbors these folks there really isnt a need for them to be elsewhere. Although you will never really hear any in the media come out directly and accuse Pakistan of this.

your thoughts?

how reminiscent.

if memory serves, the 'tet' offensive took place in vietnam just after the army decided that all of the vc had been killed.

tell you what, we have no business being in iraq - if we must stay, arrogance won't work.

this i guarantee.

The 25% left that kills innocent women and children will unfortunately still get the support of a few.
Maybe the suscide bomers that are left are actually Iraq and not the insurgents so we can deal with them now that the majority of the population feel its safe enough to be on our side. And we better get a handle on them in Pakistan too, forget the election rederick

lol, 75 percent has been destroyed in Iraq? They commit genocide or something? Its practically impossible for them to accomplish that sort of feat without genocide unless there were hardly any Al Qaeda members in Iraq to begin with.

i believe this, Iraqis hate al-qaeda all most as much as they hate us.

edit
(there were hardly any al-qaeda members in iraq to begin with - about 1% of the insurgency population at their peak)

thats good but like u said they're in pakisatan know and thats no secret anymore seeing al qeida is assainating foreigning leaders but the president won't lets us come in and look for al queida while bhutto would have been happy to lets us look thats why she was killed

the media is making a big deal out of her death but they're not making pakistan a big deal when they need to seeing that country has nukes and is harboring terrorist but for some reason iran was getting more coverage for suspicion of trying to produce wmds when pakistan already has them and is an unstable country obviously since leaders are getting assainated

as for alqeida 75 % out of the country like i said thats good but they didn't come to that country till we invaded it

They may be 75% gone from Baghdad, but as the discoveries of last week showed, they've simply moved north. If we ever leave Baghdad, they'll just come back. So we have to stay forever. Vietnam, anyone?

That statement from the Iraqi government is most likely a pipedream most likely being pushed by the Bush administration.

Yes. While you and your fellow neolibs were busy concocting conspiracy theories the president of Afghanistan met with Musharraf to discuss the problem of the terrorists in the border region. It's about time.Musharraf had tried to defeat the terrorists at one time but the terrorists were able to fight them to a standstill. Hiding on the Afghan side if things got too hot. By allowing mutual incursions these two countries will be able to defeat the terrorists. It won't happen overnight but the longest journey always begins with the first step.

Iraq is better than ever before, and the liberal media don't know what to do. After reporting on how crappy the United States was doing, you virtually hear no reporting on Iraq in the last few months. These ISLAMO-FASCISTS need to be taken out where ever they are.
