Do you think Stacy in WNTW is way different from FL?
I was watching FL last night with Curtis (Take Home Chef) and she was acting like a moron. I've seen hosts make similar jokes, but never the way she does.
I think that is really strange because she seems much more mature and pulled together (mentally) on WNTW.

I once watched a show on TLC where you are learn a job completely different from your own, and this girl learns to be a Fashionista or something. She met Stacy and other fashion critics and said they were extremely fake and flakey.

Do you see a difference?
Do you think that it is because she is alone and not with Clinton?
Which show do you like her better on?
Do you think she's actually flakey or really smart? Which is the act? (*Please don't tell me she went to College/University. You can graduate and still be flakey.

That is a great point- About how it would be boring if she wasn't over the top.
But Oprah and Ellen, and others, they aren't boring and they certainly don't come off as stupid.
Another great point is how it is kinda like Oprah. On the one hand, I love that Stacy gives out so much free things to make the audience look better. On the other hand, it is just filler to replace actually having real content.

I'm somewhat surprised a talkshow based mostly on fashion has got as far as this one.

I think she's much more professional on WNTW. She acts a little too wild on FL. I think Clinton keeps her grounded and I like WNTW much better. FL is kinda stupid. It's like a wanna-be Oprah.

I think she's smart but acts too "fun & wild" on FL. She seems like she knows something on WNTW.

Now that you mention it, she does act more goofy on Late. I think the talk show format gives her more room to show different sides of her personality and talent. I prefer What Not To Wear. Also you get a double dose of Stacey since Late plays right after What Not to Wear, witch is nice.

Stacy is MUCH better on WNTW. I'm a fan of Stacy; but FL was barely watchable.

There is something about her that is very gawky and teen-agerish. It's like she isn't mentally mature. She knows all about clothes, but I think she is not terrible smart in other areas. Also, I think that she is obsessed with clothes to the point where it has taken over her life. She relates to clothes but not to people.

I like "What Not to Wear".
I don't know if she is flaky and fake or not. Some people have a television persona and separate persona off screen.

She's the only host of the show so she has to be a little over the top.

The show would be boring if she was low-keyed.
