How on earth did Twiggy managed to paint her eyes like that?

hm.. by looking at the picture I think she's drawn on the bottom eyelashes with a dark brown glittery liquid eyeliner. She's also coloured her crease with this to make it look darker and her eyes deeper, and she's exaggerated the depth of the inner bit of her eye by carrying the liner on the top further down towards her nose.
Then lots of mascara and poss false eyelashes on top.
I do think though that a look like that is near impossible to do if you're not some sort of makeup genious. But maybe it's just me, if I try to eye-line or darken the crease of my eye I just end up looking like I've been punjched!
but I suppose all different makeup looks suit different eye shapes and my eyes are probably too little for such heavy makeup.

Twiggy's make up was inspired by the 1930's film star look of doll like eyes. She used to paint the lower lashes onto her lower lids, put false eyelashes on the top lash line and draw the socket line with a pencil.
This would then be layered up with mascara.
She also used to paint freckles on her cheeks with an eyebrow pencil.

They are fake lashes. Twiggy was the first person ever to wear fake eyelashes on her bottom lids, they later called them twiggy's because of her.

it seems like she has fake eyelashes in small tuffs instead of one whole block on both her upper and lower lash line.
then she must have framed up her entire eyes with glittery peach(or some other light nude shades) eyeliner or shadow.
and then she has drawn a 'fake' and exaggerated double eyelid crease with brown eyeliner on her upper eyelid.

Their not fake eyelashes, or mascara.
But mascara would probably help.
You use pencil eyeliner and draw them.

shes just wearing brown mascara and looks like its double coated
other than that.. she has huge eyes which gives it, its over all look
