I just finished reading "The Kite Runner" and " A Thousand Splendid Suns".....I loved both. A few years ago I read "The Girls of LaHora" and since then I have wanted to read more on the lives of Middle Eastern women and their many hardships.
I am always shocked on the way these women are denied their dignity and are brutally treated even today.
I am currently reading "The Bookseller of Kabul".

She is amazing with character development though the ending is a bit forced. I love it even with its flaws because the characters are so amazing.
