Reagan for sure, and then Theodore Roosevelt. FDR is not in the top he didn't do anything except implement New Deal plans that did nothing. I guess we can thank him for our failing social programs. He was basically a socialist.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt - not necessarily because of his policies as president, but rather because he was able to inspire hope for the future of our nation during what was arguably the darkest days of the United States. No other president before or since FDR brought the people together to work towards a common goal like he did.

Can't decide between FDR and Reagan.
FDR: Lead country through the Great Depression and WWII with strength and wisdom.
Reagan was just effective, healing, clear-thinking - into prosperity and unity. Brought down the evil USSR. Made us all feel secure and focused.

It is a toss up between Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan.
Harry had the ballz to drop the bomb to stop the war, all though he pussed out when it came to using it on China during the Korean War.
Reagan won the Cold War against the USSR.

Ronald Reagan, if you are a conservative, for through military conservatism he ended the Cold War. Furthermore, he drastically lowered taxes.
FDR, if you are a liberal, for he a lot of the modern social welfare institutions that we enjoy today, such as Social Security. FDR also had great leadership in the Depression and in World War II.
Since I am a conservative, I pick Ronald Reagan.

I would say McKinley because he reigned the shortest and had the least time to damage the Constitution.

Franklin Delanor Roosevelt - First hundred days, helped end depression, WWII. I'd say he's second best of all time, to Lincoln of course.
