I just finished reading the Women's Murder Club series (minus the 7th one which is yet to be released). I really, really, enjoyed them and feel sad that it's almost over. Is the Alex Cross series any good for a feamle reader? I enjoyed the story of Lindsay Boxer because I can relate to her. What goes on with Alex Cross that might interest me?

If it is good, which book do I start with? Thanks!!

Its funny that I found this question. I just finished up the Women's Murder Club series(save 1 and 3, they were out). I have read a few of the Alex Cross books and after just 2 or three I realized that they all willhave the same theme. Terrible killer on the loose, Alex has to help, they think they get the guy, but oops, wrong track. That is just my opinion. After a flash of insight, they find the guy, have a tense stand off and all is well.
Have you tried the Sue Grafton books? Kinsey I think is my favorite book character.

The Alex Cross series would be a great series to read, yes read them in the order the above person said to. Alex is a detective who deals with some sophisticated killers, very interesting I have read everyone of the books including the recent release of Double Cross.
