what do you mean "she insists"???
If you have made it clear that you are straight and not interested in her like that and she still persists???? Then she has crossed the line.
You tell her, if she expects you to respect her sexuality, then she needs to respect yours. And by "insisting" that you guys get involved is showing you and your sexuality no respect at all.

First off, how does she "insist"? Does she flirt with you? Does she make passes at you?
Secondly, if she doesn't respect the fact that you are not interested in her (sexually), then you will have to tell her to go find someone else to play with because you want nothing to do with her. If you like her as a friend, tell her that but also tell her that you want nothing to do with her if she cannot respect your sexual orientation. (Obviously you need to have a face to face talk with her - preferably in public)
