Yep you can at the same time. It usually requires to play off the disk you just installed. It will say anyway, if you try to run it from the wrong one.

Well, you have the base game, pretty sure of that, then you installed pets and seasons. when you play the sims 2 game, the Season expansion pack and the Pets expansion pack's features will be there. The disc you'll use is the Disc 1 of the latest expansion pack you have installed in your computer, which is Seasons in your case.

The Sims is designed to give you the ability to add on to the game as much as you want. And all of the expansion packs and stuff packs are meant to add more game play. You can add the different packs in whichever order you want, as many as you want or what your computer can handle.
Each expansion and stuff pack plays off each other. There's no choosing "to play just seasons" or "just pets", they all work together. And you can install them in any order. Generally you would play with the disk of the most current expansion pack (Seasons in your case), however, don't worry, the game will tell you which disk it wants to play off of.

When playing the sims its gets a little tough on your part.
If you own many expansions, like myself, you need to know which one came last and was released most recently.
Ex.) if you have seasons and university, you would use the CD for seasons when you would want to play because it came after university and is your most recent expansion CD installed on your computer.
Most of the time when you place a CD in your drive, and you arent sure if its the correct one to play, it would say which one you should use. If not then try em all!
I use Snootysims.com to check release dates for new games all the time. But it does have a lot of info on previous games and could help with the ' which came before which ' topic. Check it out!

Yes you can play them both and the disc you use is which ever one you last installed.
P.S. you can buy more expansions and install them to you just have to use the one you last installed. I'm pretty sure.

individually, I abhor Pets. there grew to become into little, if something, i discovered redeeming that wasn't secure in sequential enlargement packs (re: Bon Voyage, Seasons). Plus, the werewolf wasn't that thrilling of a concept, nor grew to become into having pets any pastime (relatively pondering your possibilities have been delegated to canines, cats, a wamrat, and a chook... not something cool like snakes or such...) Pets, to me, grew to become right into a extensive enable down. I enjoyed OfB, yet i would not call it the main suitable EP (that honor is going to Seasons for me, individually). possessing your man or woman shops grew to become right into a cool function, improve "badges" (nonetheless it grew to become right into a constrained* function). reality learn, i might recommend college. It expands your life some greater weeks (in case you do not do the "ageing off" cheat, which i just about continuously do, besides...), yet opens 3 greater thrilling profession fields (come on, a guy ingesting cow plant... what's to not love approximately THAT?!?!) * by constrained function, I recommend in case you're improve your flower arranging, it would not help at the same time with your gardening skills, nor does your cutting-edge skill point relatively improve your gaining know-how of ability. meaning, having a extreme Mechanical skill shouldn't help you build robots and earnings badge factors swifter...

All EPs work together with the main game, so you will have cats and dogs in the snowy winter....
You have to take disc of seasons, because it's the newer EP. But the game will tell it, if you have the wrong one...
