Yep, you need to configure your firewall to allow incoming and outgoing connections to Firefox

Sometimes Downloads contain viruses and prevent the application from running.

Uninstall and re-install Firefox 3 Beta version.

Also have a good Anti-Virus like NOD 32 to kill any viruses.

I'd suggest that you try to clear your cookies and cashe and see if that works.

If not, then I'd suggest that you try to repair your connection by going to Control Panel and then to Network and Internet Connections. From there, you should right click on your connection and then select Repair.

If that doesn't work, then I'd suggest you reset your router by unplugging it for about fifteen seconds or so and then plugging it back in.

If that still doesn't work, then I'd suggest that you try to uninstall FireFox and then redownload it.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

Try loading a page located locally on your computer with firefox.
If this loads successfully there is likely to be a problem with your connection, not with the browser itself.

Also, if you have installed any addons temp disable them to see if they are affecting your use.

Firefox is ace when it works =)
