Trevor Hoffmon is not retired, actually he is still probably going to be on the Padres next year. He is only 40 so maybe a couple of more years (maybe).

Hoffman has not announced any plans to retire. His current contract runs through the 2008 season.

Trevor is not retired. He remains one of the best closers in baseball today, and he will probably continue to be just that in 2008; however, the guy just continues to prove that he cannot shut the door in big spots.
