I'll suggest bringing it in to the Geek Squad.

Is there any error message? You may just have a corrupted boot loader file or file system file. Fixing a corrupted system file can be quick and easy. I would do some investigation first, before any reformat or trips to a repair shop, unless you want to reformat and reinstall anyway.

Your computer operating system is crash......
If u have computer knowledge follow these steps:
1)First of all bring your hard-disk to any ones computer(Who have a good antivirus software with firewall activated) and attach yr harddisk as the slave...
2)Turn on yr friend computer... Now it will diplay yr hard drive partion (if have)..

yuo cab definatey get the data out of the computer by attaching your hard to another computer as the secondary hard disk and copy the data to wher you want.

for the not start problem, if you hav windows xp installed, set the boos sequence to cd fort. then loan a bootable xp cd and boot from the cd. then after the initial file copy is finished and "starting to instal windows" message apper on the bottem line, restart the computer with the restart button and remove the bootable cd and let it boot with the hard disk. this might wor for you.

If you have a backup copy of your personal datafiles, I suggest that you reformat your hard drive then reinstall your operating system and other software.

If you don't have a backup copy of your personal datafiles, then bring you computer to a shop ( with a clean room ) that can perform data recovery from the hard drive.
