1. I am a mix: English (from the Bermician border peoples along the Scottish border, from settlers of 1826 and up to 1911), Jewish ( from my mother's mother born in Jerusalem to an old Jewish family of that city, my great-grandfather Isaac,(born 1870, Jaffa) to his Russian-Jewish first wife who died in childbirth, 1900; Latvian, Polish and Byelorussian, and through my maternal grandfather, indigenous Australian (Pjatjantjara tribes, which go back 40,000 years). But I look like a blue-eyed Slav.
Don't even try asking me for percentages on these ethnic groups! I know I am 1/16 indigenous; variegated Brit is close to 50%.
2. Born in Sydney, Australia; parents both born in Perth, Western Australia. Lived and raised in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, all State capitals. I have lived also in Tasmania, Hobart region.

I am an American. I was born in Phila., PA in the United States of America. All people born in any country are considered "natives" of or indigenous to that country. Therefore, I am a native American, just as I would be a native Frenchwoman had I been born in France. Now I live in "downstate" NY on an island.
