Or can you equally enjoy listening to a song in another language which you don't understand?

When i understand the lyrics i keep singing the song over and over till i get bored, but when i don't understand it i keep loving the song like forever.

yes actually I prefer to listen to music I can understand. Sometimes I like to listen to Indian music but I make sure there are subtitles available if I'm watching on tv or DVD, other than that, I try to let a friend explain to me what they're saying. It makes a difference when u know what the song is about

no I don't have to.
I can enjoy a song for it's rhythm or singer's voice or just becoz I liked it.of course it'll matters if I understood what it says.but it's nt a must as long as I enjoy it.
and I do listen to songs with weird languages lol but still I enjoy it

I have to understand it , but rarely I like song that I don't understand , just for the music .

i like listening to songs in english but sometimes the lyrics don't make sense lol

it doesnt matter if you can't understand them or not, you just have to be able to enjoy them =]

I like to understand them.. but I don't have to. I think understanding the music is part of listening to it.. it helps you connect to it and 'feel' it
