I only have one ethernet port on my modem and my ps3 ethernet cord is plugged in their but while im online on the ps3 i cant get on the internet on my PC so how can i have my computer on the internet at the same time? isnt their a cord that can link em together..somebody said i should get a phone jack or something im not sure I NEED HELP !!!

We have a Router that links our two computers together so we can be on Road Runner at the same time. It is called something like Eazy Lynks. You can go to Circuit City, Staples, Office Max or other computer stores in your area.

you need a router, this will allow more than one device to share the internet.

OR

you could set up a ICS (Internet connection sharing) on your PC... Connect your pc to your modem then daisy chain from your computer to your PS3 with another cable... You may need an additional network card. You will also have to have you PC on and connected to the internet for the PS3 to use it.

The first idea is much better and easier.

You need to get yourself a router like this one:

You can pick them up in most large department stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. for $20 or so.
