I was thinking about that dell that comes in pink and all of the different colors, but I don't know yet. I'm a teen and don't need anything expensive or complex (I don't have that much to spend). Under $900 please. I'd love to have a MAC, but I can't afford it. I need it to help a USB port for my flash drive, a CD/DVD drive, and Windows vista or XP. Anyone reccomend anything? Please help me?!

^^It's in pink, but I guess it's sold out.

The Toshiba L40 would be a good laptop. My opinion? Cheaper than the price you listed and power full in the same time. With Intel Celeron Processor of 1.2 Ghz, 512 MB RAM, and Windows Vista Home Basic, and 40 GB, has 2 USB ports, 1 LAN slot(for you're modem) and 2 other card readers(that supports memory cards like Sony Micro SD and Sony Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo from my knowledge). I believe 40 GB would be enough for the games you enjoy the most since laptops aren't made for everyday activities and just for holidays and short travels from a place to another, and if you want to extend these configurations you may do it in time by purchasing other hardware more power full that is designed for laptops, be careful not to buy regular PC(desktop computer) hardware because it won't work.

Laptops truly follow the rule "you get what you pay for." If you are going to skimp on the overall price at the outset then you should definitely buy an extended warranty.

Lenova has recently become a ratings-darling in PC magazine reviews. Dell, HP (Pavillion series), and Sony are consistently solid.

IBM Thinkpad and get Windows XP not Vista, I hear there are problems with Vista. However, not sure if the Thinkpad comes in Pink. You can try ebay and find one for under $100
