Of course not. What is the point of awarding K Minogue with that honour ? She sang for two reasons and two reasons only
(1) MONEY and
(2) HER EGO....
In what way do those two make her worthy of that honour ?
Of ANY honour in fact ?!?!?!

Why should people like parkinson be knighted for getting paid a wedge of cash to talk to david beckham and co. and then get the pleasure of being knighted.

knighthoods dhould be given to peolpe who achieve substantial things or go above and beyond the call of duty to help others.

personally i don't honour anybody even myself...
if sb has done sth that deserves honour he/she has received it by his/her action...
