Upgrading a Laptop is rarely done because of the cost of having the work done and because of how they are built.
Updates are on the other hand a must from the manufacture as well as Software makers sites.
Given the cost of Laptops now I recommend to purchase a new one rather than attempting parts replacement.
You will also find that ANY computer is outdated in as little as 6 months to a year.
I am using a Power book that the computer itself has been upgraded 4 times and the Operating System has been upgraded 6 times since I purchased it. So as you can see this is an ongoing issue and goes with the territory.

its tough to upgrade your laptop due to how they are built. A lot of things come integrated on the motherboard. But lately they are allowing you to upgrade hard drives. So I never do.

whilst it breaks and that i prefer a clean one and characteristic money. i've got been a twelve months without computer, the single my dad gave me suffered hardware failure and died (HP sucks) and that i neither have $500 for anew one or rather prefer a clean computer. the HP computer lasted 3 years below mild use till the photographs card failed. HP had it working at 70C idle and 90C complete ability, no ask your self it died rapidly. it grow to be $1300 new. I controlled to sell it for $225.
