A 40 year old woman being "grounded" from the computer during the day!

She needs to get a serious life. It sounds like either her husband took it from her because she was not doing anything around the house, or her senior citizen parents did so that she would get some ambition to find either a job and/or a husband. Either way, she needs to start taking control of her own affairs, and not allow herself to be put into a position where somebody else has the power and authority to make that decision for her.

Interesting....but you didn't say "who" is grounding her. Unless it's her boss, i don't understand who else would be telling her what she can't do. Sometimes i need to be "grounded" from the computer...i'm always on here when i should be doing other things :-)

I think that's sad. If it's her S/O grounding her then he sounds like one of those men who has to make himself feel better by trying to order his woman around.

Terrible, sad, my dear!!! It will get better, I assure you. Keep the faith. Have confidence in yourself and never let your self esteem be diminished! You know you have many many good friends who support and love you for who you are and the values you stand for!! Just look it as a small hurdle.
