I got the internet and AOL when I was in 8th graed about 13 years ago or so and I was spelling things all crazy and as I got older and had to type up a paper I was typing the generic way instead of the correct way and it took a lot of time to go back and change everything I misspelled so.. I am against it. I try to explain to my little sister that you do not want to teach yourself to type the wrong way because in the end when you are older you will not type like the rest of your life. It just makes it easier to do things the right way first.

No. I do not agree.
It is a basic requirement of communication, that the other party should understand clearly what you are communicating.Correct spelling, therefore, has immense importance. Hence, each one of us should get to know the correct spelling from our early age.Grown ups too should amend their spellings as soon as possible.

Against, it would be a nice change to be able to read and understand their questions and answers.
To bad that so many schools and teachers keep passing the uneducated to the next higher grade.

I think its okay if thats not how they write all the time. For instance, if a child were to rite lik thiz all da time, an even whn they were @ school, thaz un-aceptable. But if they rite like thiz only onlin, thn tht wood b ok.

No, I don't support it. I'm 17 and I don't like using shorthand unless I have to take quick notes in lectures.
Also teachers hate it when you use it in essays/assignments.

Im against it.
You may think it's good now 'cos you're a kid but when you get to adulthood and you can't spell you'll look like a right retard.

I'M AGAINST MISPELLING WORDS TO CREATE A CONVENIENCE LIKE TEXTING... CHILDREN NEED TO CORRECT SPELLINGS, BECAUSE WHEN THEY GET A JOB, THEIR EMPLOYER WILL NOT FIND IT FUNNY WHEN THEY CAN'T TYPE A MEMO CORRECTLY.
