I'm a student doing my final BSC computers. Can u please suggest me a book in JAVA and its programming which can be very useful for my exams. It should be perfect in the notes point of view.Please mention the title and the authors name of the book.(notes for basics in JAVA and multithreaded programming, applet programming etc)

Hi I think "Complete Reference Java" is ever green book for java, now it has 5 editions , 5th edition is best one. It is written by Herbert Schildt and published by McGraw-Hill/Osborne.
It has cool stuff up to advanced programming.
You can get this e-book for free on net.

If you want more advanced programming look for this book. "Deitel - Java How to Program sixth Edition" It also has ATM system case study of. I think you may not get this book on net.

Go for Headfirst JAVA. That is the best book to clear your concepts, It has things explained so easily that anyone can understand with excellent pictorial representations of the concepts. You will find the book of great help. It has several series like headfirst JSP, Headfirst EJB etc. The authors are kathy sierra and Bert Bates

If you are doing your FINALS in BSC level comuting you should be able to use a LIBRARY to look for books, also be able to READ the RECCOMENDED reading list supplied by lecturers.

Go on amazon.com and search for JAVA perhaps ? But depends WHAT you need to do specifically . . .

Thinking in Java By Bruce Eckel is beat one. E-book is avaiable on the net.
