I say 90-95 wins and an AL East crown, and then we'll see from there. We have the best lineup in baseball...BY FAR, and even though the pitching staff is young I think it will begin to take shape as one of the best in the AL around July and the Yankees will break away from the pack there. Also, they'll want to send out the cathedral of baseball Yankee Stadium the right way.

I cant wait until this season. The Knicks, Jets, and Rangers have caused me enough heartache this offseason and the Yankees are the only really good team I root for these days.

Also, as for Boston...lets just say flukes rarely happen twice.

LETS GO YANKEES!

PS: No anti-Yankee answers.

It was a good effort last year. The Playoffs=success.

I won't even begin to talk about how stupid and biased this is. Come now, we all know that, at the moment, the Red Sox are the superior team. What is "lets just say flukes rarely happen twice" supposed to mean? You stupid Yankee fans need to realize that your dynasty has suffered a semi-collapse and that you are now in "semi-rebuilding mode".

Oh, and "No anti-Yankee answers."???

Are you saying that you don't want honest opinions that maybe the yankees won't do well?

Well, we have virtually the same the as last year; no dramatic losses and no huge additions. LaTroy Hawkins, who is replacing Luis Vizcaino, adds depth to our bullpen. Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy, and Joba Chamberlain will have been already experienced and will we competing for a starting spot in the rotation, assuming that a trade does not go down.
With Alex Rodriguez and Jorge Posada back, our offense should be tops in the league.

But the Yankees, who are known very well to make blockbuster deals, are desperately looking for an ace. With Dan Haren and Mark Prior out of reach now, Johan Santana seems to be the only ace out there, available for New York. So look for the Yankees to pull of a deal. That will only make our rotation stronger but it might mean the loss of Kennedy and Hughes.

So anoher 95+ win season is in reach but we'll still have to see what deals get done by Spring Training.

I think very well and for several reasons. One, the youth in the pitching staff is a great thing to look forward to. Two, the amazing lineup. Three, the motovation to send the old yankee stadium off with a bang. If arod continues to hit, if joba, phil, and ian live up to their potential, if mariano can return to late 1990's form, if posada has another monster season (all of these maybe are very likely), the yankees will be very good.

BoSox fans snuggle tight to the crown and kiss and hold and touch it--because 2007 is the year another curse will begin with you. You will not see another title for 97 years. I have perfected a curse that I cast upon the whole Fenway Park when I was there last week. Beware as visitors too, because I loosened some scaffolding as well......
Yanks in '08 103-59. My crystal ball shows A Rod as the AL Series MVP and Joba as the WS MVP........woooohaaahhaahhhaaahhaa.

The Yankees should win around 88+ games & compete for division and/or wild card spot for the play-offs. Never count the Yankees out.

Well you would nedd Bernie Williams there, because he was a machine. Williams #51 was an amazing outfielder...

But I still do see a championship in the future, I don't no if it'll be next year, but it will happen again.

They will hopefully win the division, Just to give the sox the red a$$ again ,then lose to The tigers in the alcs(hopefully). With a new manager, Its hard to say what will happen. I personally think they should have Hired Chris Chambliss as there manager or even given Don Mattingly a chance.I think that team chemistry is important and a ton of luck. Basically, whatever team can stay the healthiest has the best chance
