I left a cd in my cd drive and I just took it out?

I just put a new dvd burner in it, I understand I have to undo everything but it won't mess anything up will it?

or is it possible to open it manually and take it out?

There should be a tiny pin hole that you can push to open. I have done this before and it worked.

Just pull it out Install the new burner and PLug it in exactly like you had the CD burner and Put in the Install CD that came with it to Install the new drivers, If it didn't come witha cd then go to the control panel ad select add new hardware
