What a timing! I just watched it yesterday.
It started off really great until the director decides to change the whole genre from drama to science fiction in the middle of the film(specifically, until the kid was left in the jungle). And then it just doesn't make sense anymore and is all over the place. What kind of movie can have a robot, a pinocchio and an alien in the same film?
Haley Joel Osment definitely steals the show with a brilliant acting but the storyline sucks big time and it's such a shame coz it shows a lot of promise in the beginning

I HATED A.I. I think it's the worst movie Spielberg ever made, including "1941" I sat through the first half of the movie thinking, "C'mon, Steven, start the story! Tell us what's this movie about?" Then I spent the rest of the movie thinking "Jeez, Steven, wrap this piece of crap up! End it and put me out of my misery!"
As far as I could tell, the theme of the movie is, "Don't ever get a dream, cause it'll never come true. The end."

jo-jube, flow bite your self and depart valid askers on my own. Sigh. My precise favorites are GAKUEN HEAVEN, which happens in an all-boys' college, and KYO KARA MAOH: GOD shop OUR KING, which has the strangest premise of a boy being flushed down a lavatory and ending up in yet another international and crowned the demon king, yet have confidence me, it rather is hilarious and has very glaring shonen-ai suitable from the 1st episode. additionally, MIRAGE OF BLAZE, mutually as a complicated storyline in the start, is extremely reliable, noticeably in case you flow directly to its carry on with-up, REBELS OF THE RIVER area. fake is a gorgeous, humorous, lively short somewhat than an entire series. for human beings that are much less overt with the shonen-ai subject matter: DESCENDANTS OF DARKNESS has a darker subject matter with vampires and has much less glaring shonen-ai, even though it rather is there. EARTHIAN, SUKISHO, and LOVELESS are additionally suggested, yet i visit alert you that Loveless is extra annoying than something given the a while in contact. approaches is extremely reliable, as is PRINCESS PRINCESS. DNANGEL and ANGEL'S FEATHER additionally should be listed, yet i do no longer think i've got considered Angel's Feather (yet). i'm merely now gazing WOLF'S RAIN, this is extremely promising (and spectacular) so far. i did no longer like Gravitation or Kizuna. additionally including TOKYO GODFATHERS, which isn't precisely shonen-ai, yet there are some tricks with between the foremost characters, and the anime action picture itself is dissimilar exciting to visual exhibit unit.

If you're big into drama and sf, then rent it. It's a poignant movie and it's long...
