a vah tar,....it's a sort of made up cartoon image of yourself offered on many of the communication sites like "my space" ot 360 or some of the sites that kids go to, you can put different clothes on them, hats, etc.......it's supposed to represent you.

im not sure what it means,. but i think it means a "front image" where you are fronting up an image of yourself,.. get it? and its pronouced as AVATAR,. the same way u read it
