I would on the condition I could come back a few times a year to see my mum and my family, it would all depend where it was, is it safe for us to live (not iraq, etc) and how it would effect my daughters schooling, I would have to think long and hard whether it was right.

Depends - Europe or Western, yes. Third world , revolutionary, or country where women's rights are restricted - no. Been there - don't need to do it again.
