Now don't give it away, but if you did guess it, what was the guy doing when you figured it out. I caught on when he was spinning the ball in the bowl.

remoserjr107: I think the point was to perform a marvelous exercise in memorizing the song backwards. He did all the things he did to prove which direction was forwards and which backwards, to prove that it was in fact a feat of memorizing. The guy's got an amazing mind.

I thought about the colors of the balloons, and how they expected people would know it, and so was looking for the song that turned out to be correct, but I didn't feel I actually recognized it until a good bit later.

I recognized the first (last?) line. After that it was hard to recognize it, and I started doubting my first instinct.
