just got the altinator recondishioned a month ago and 2 weeks ago just when my clutch was going the light battery light came on, a day after the clutch was fixed the battery was drained jump started grand but no charge got a new battery that worked good for the last week and a half and now it is completey drained alot worse than my last oone was wont even go on a push start but tried jump startin it for 30 mins and got it on left it for 15 mins turned car off and when i try to turn bak on was 100% drained again

its a 97 citreon saxo, theres a sub and amp hoocked up as well but dont think thats draining the battery

sounds like you need to get a new alternator already, either you got a bad one or that amp on your radio is really taking a toll on it, I would get a larger alternator if one is available for your car as that way it will handle the extra draw from your amp that you have.

Sounds like a bad alternator. Connect a voltmeter to the battery. With the engine running it should show about 14 volts. If it doesn't you alternator is bad.

Bad alternator or loose belt on the alternator. Even you got it recondititioned, they still go bad. just trash it and get another one with a warranty. The battery light indicates that the alternator is not charging.

if the alternator is charging the battery o.k.[test it] could be rear screen heater switch left on,which will drain battery fast.
