I'm sure lots of people will say, "42," but if you're asking about human life...

I believe the true meaning of life is to progress though generations, passing down [family] history and knowledge, making sure that no generation to come is ignorant of generations past, for the path ahead is clearer when one knows the path behind. (hehe, sounds very philosophical.. I guess it IS the philosophy section)

Some things humans weren't meant to know. What would you do if you found out the meaning of life?

I believe that we should lead a good and generous life (although I have yet to meet a like-minded individual -_-) Help out others as much as we can.

Besides 42, I would say the true meaning of life is either

a) What you define your life to be
or
b) Your born, you breed, you live, you die

To find all the pieces of the huge, jagged puzzle that is life. Only to realise that the last piece is missing. Life is a series of related experiences that force us to evolve on every level. It's a beautiful dance of inner blindness :)

To find the meaning of life....which, by default means that the meaning to life is to find & disseminate truth in the hopes that someday, thinking life-forms will be able to use that data to decipher what the true meaning of life is.

The only things I find meaningful in life are (in this order also)
Love
Happiness
Knowledge

You can have one without the others, but to have all three I believe to be absolute bliss
