First, a noun is a person place or thing (and sometimes an idea). A plural noun is more than one of something. For example if I say "The boy went to the store." the word boy is a singular noun - if I say "The boys went to the store." The word boys is a plural noun. Generally, a noun that is more than one would be a plural noun. If you add an s or es, it becomes more that one. Examples: dog - dogs; cat - cats; cold drink - cold drinks; store - stores; girl - girls; club - clubs, etc.

It is a noun that refers to more than one person, place or thing. It is the opposite of a singular noun, which refers to a single person, place, or thing. Most nouns in English form their plural by adding an "s" to the end of the word, but as with most other things in the language, there are some exceptions.

Let me deal with this is 2 stages.
A noun is a naming word, such as chair, mother or shampoo, to give 3 examples at random.
A singular noun refers to just one thing, so that all the examples I have given are singular nouns.
A plural noun refers to more than one item so that chairs, mothers and shampoos are all plural nouns.
But do not fall in to the trap of believing that all plural nouns end in the letter s. Nor is a noun that does end in the letter s necessarily a plural noun.

A plural noun means more than one person, place or thing. For example a singular one would be. I am a woman. A plural one would be, " I went with three women to the mall." Many plural nouns end in an "s". i.e. computers. telephones, teachers, etc. Hope this helps! The woman and women one is trickier.
