there is something about the mayan calender and why it ends one the date 21 december 2012 a.d. but i also read and the article said that the corrected date is suppose to be 28 october 2011. the articles are so long, as in llllooooooonnnnnnngggg. i dont understand anything. can someone explain it to me in short?
i know we are living in the end times. it's so obvious isnt it?

The fact that their calender end, brings up several issues to be resolved. I will just mention the 2 biggest
The 1st & most important would have to be: what actually is ending? If it is the world that ends, obviously there ceases to be a need for a calender with it. But the Mayans themself are long since gone or absorbed into different cultures, so why did they have their calander outlast them? So is it perhaps 'time' that is ending?
The 2nd big question then is: when will this 'end' be.
THeir calander was far more advanced then any calenders of known civilization. This creates a debate in how to translate something from a very finely tuned system of measure, into one much more rough....& still be accurate. This is the reason for the discrepencys.

The Mayan calender simply has an enormous cycle to it that happens to run out on May 14th, 2012. Think of it as the new Mayan millennium.
Now my question to you, what makes you think we're in the end times? People have been saying that since the beginning times, and our quality of life has done nothing but improve.

When the physical world dies, the positive and negative forces will pass away. God who created us in his image, his imagination, our soul which is changeless, timeless, and immortal will go back to god. The soul is neither positive or negative and cannot be destroyed. It,s O.K. a new world order is coming and will last for a very long time before the end.

if you truly believe in your heart that that jesus loves you so much,that he died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead for are salvation, then you will become a child of god and you dont have to worry about all the bad stuff that is going on in this world, because you are going to heaven!
