There was a Gay seagull once who flew upside down for a Lark...

I work with birds at London Zoo. Yes, hummingbirds can fly upside down, but so can several others. The Roller flies upside down during its courting displays. As someone else said, birds of prey can fly upside down for short periods. We have Black Kites that will regularly flip upside down to catch food that flies above them.
To stretch the point a little, penguins are siad to "fly" through the water (they don't swim. The action is more like flying). Therefore penguins can fly upsode down.

According to http://www.enotes.com/science-fact-finder/animal-world/can-any-birds-fly-upside-down

Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly upside down. They do so because of their angled wing structure. However, a hummingbird can fly upside down only for a short period of time. A hummingbird can also fly backward; it does this when removing its bill from a tube flower.

Yes - and not just the hummingbird... (sheesh...)
Some eagles fly claw to claw as part of their courtship, with one bird on top flying normally, and the one on the bottom flying upside down. The Bald eagle is a prime example of a large bird that flies upside-down in several circumstances.

Yes, but not easily or for long periods of time. The hummingbird is the best known example, but not the only bird. Many raptors will briefly fly upside down during courtship, and corvids (crows, ravens, etc) seem to do it just for fun, especially on windy days.

Humming birds are the only birds capable of flying upside down because of the angle of their wings that is unique to their species and their ability to flap their wings rapidly (80-200 times per second). But the hummingbird can only sustain this type of flight for a short time period because as you can imagine it is a strenuous undertaking for them to perform that feat of agility.
