Most of my friends are women. I get along better with women and I prefer women as friend. Lots of people say it's not possible. I has to be sex based. What do you think?

It's interesting that some answers say no. Sex will come into it. I have been happily married for 23 years and my oldest female friend I've had since I was 8. My best friend in fact.

I think its hard for the opposite sex to just be friends. Alot of people say "of course they can".

Alot of flirting goes on, i havent met one guy yet who does not flirt with their female friends. I think u like to flirt lol

Yes it's possible for guys and gals to be friends. If sex is an issue, and i mean sexual, I wouldn't think that it would make things worse, unless you act like a child.

A guy and a girl can become really good friends and have a strong relationship as long as you keep drama out. If you two are having sex just to be having sex and can still keep the friendship good, i don't see what the problem is.

I think it is possible for a man and women to be best friends. My best friend is a man, which I had dated in high school for over a year or so, I tell him everything. I love him but as a friend and we have never crossed the friend lines.

I'm certain that straight men and straight women can be friends without the relationship becoming based on sex. I have several male friends like that. We've never dated/had sex and we're never going to date/have sex. We just enjoy each others' company.

ok
pretty much all my friends are guys
its doesnt mean anything
and theres one in particular whos only got like one guy friend
hes not gay
trust me i know
but just because he hangs out with a bunch of girls all the time doesnt mean he wants sex or just to perve
a friend is a friend it doesnt matter what sex they are
hope that made some kind of sence

I don't see why guys can't be friendswith women. Culture today as sex-based, but it's easy to break out of that without being a weirdo. It doesn't mean that you are gay, it means you are outgoing.

Throughout my life, I have had mostly men friends. For some reason though, either them or me developed more than just friend feelings, and it ruined everything. So yes, it is possible for awhile at least.

Usually, they want that. Women friends are good as you relate to your gender. Sometimes, you have problems that are pertaining to females here and there. Any suggestions

yeah... but if you only think women as friend, you might be gay, but there's nothing wrong with that.
