Check the LANGUAGE default and keyboard layout settings in control panel, NOTHING to do with a hardware fault. UK and EU keybs bave " above 2, EU tend to have # for shift 3,

Once you set keyboard nbationality correctly (probably windows has defaulted to US setting) it should be fine.

On your bottom tool bar, you will see the letters EN. Right click on it, choose settings and change it to United Kingdom or if it’s like mine choose CY. Cy is for welsh, which I am not but that’s just how mines is. This won’t change the language setting just the keyboard lay out.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like your circuit board in your keyboard is going bad.
Try to borrow another keyboard and if it doesn't do this, it is the keyboard.
You can also try Help and Support on your Start menu, they can be pretty helpful with some things.

it is just a moisture and dust from the plastic pvc. the solution is to open the keyboard's case, take out the plastic pcb, take note that it has a 101 pieces of small rubber caps used for the keys. clean the plastic pvc with clothe, the plastic pvc has 3 plastic sheets, in between is the spacer, clean both 3, then back in.
