For me it would certainly have to be the British style of humour because it is quite witty, more sophisticated and more amsusing whereas I think the Americsan humour is perhaps dumbed down a bit more and is more dull and tends to go to toilet humour alot.
Anyway What do you prefer?
Cheers!!

British, by a long way. I don't find American humour to be very funny. I just love Little Britain and Catherine Tate!! Lol I crack up every time! And Mr Bean, how can you not laugh?

British humour is greater dry and subtle, even with the actuality which could additionally be very stupid (see Monty Python, The powerful Boosh and many different stuff). i detect a great style of yank humour is greater obtrusive and that they've a great style of sitcoms (2 and a a million/2 adult males, each and every person Loves Raymond, King of Queens and so on.) no longer too keen on those. don't get me incorrect there is American comedy that i like (Scrubs is often great) yet ultimately that's British each and each of ways. in terms of arise comedy, there are some sturdy American comedians yet i detect a great style of them are into one liners (so are some British ones, e.g. Jimmy Carr) which relatively annoys me.

I like Mr. Bean. I think the original Mr Bean series is British made. Not the movies, the movie is too similar to any mainstream comedy these days.

I like it because there's not much talking. I hate listening to a bunch of fools talking too much thinking they are funny.

I like both. They are two different kinds of humor. We get to see very little of the British humor in the US.

For the British humor, I like; "Keeping up Appearances" and "Are you Being Served" reruns.
