I heard that if you use a hairdryer on low heat, it will melt the wax and you should be able to clean it up.

scrape it off with something like a credit card or ID, even a finger nail helps. then scrub, scrub scrub, with windex or the like. if that doesn't work get a hot iron and lay down some paper towels over the wax and set the iron on it for a min. the candle wax will melt and be absorbed by the paper towel

You should be able to get most of the wax off just by scraping it off the glass. For the rest, I would try rubbing alcohol or maybe even ethyl alcohol like Everclear.

Run the blowdryer under the glass and wipe it off the top with a paper towel. Alcohol will take off the residue. Then Windex.

Get some "Windex Vinegar". Spray it onto the wax. Allow to soak a few minutes. Remove it. That's it.

put a paper towel over it...
Then, heat the paper towel with an Iron... the heat will draw the wax into the paper towel.
Any residue should be easy to clean up.

Try this (should work on any surface): Put a paper towel over the wax, then iron over the paper towel (as if you were to iron your clothes).
