Casey Stoner was'nt banned from m/cycle racing in Australia.
His family took him to europe to race as the minimum age is lower, than the current australian regulations.Alot of young guns from Australia get over to Spain, Italy,U.K etc as it gives them more experience at an earlier age, So they get a jump start on there fellow aussie competitors !

When? He just raced in Australia this year and 6 times last year.

I think you have been given the wrong information or any ban that he may have received is not recent.
