Will taking acyclovir postpone your period?

I had unprotected sex 2 days before my period. From that, I received genital herpes and a few days later I took acyclovir (for the herpes), will the medicine make me be late for my next period or could I be pregnant, even though I did have my period 2 days after the sex?

This is an anti viral drug. I don't think it can affect your period. Since you had your period after sex, wait and see if you miss your next one. If so, take an HPT..
