I have tried to do my best to build a good fullfilling life.
I would first like to share some words from Max Ehrman 1926

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Max Ehrman 1926

I try to conduct my life in a manner so I can build good memories.

I have lived and learned by my mistakes. I forgive my self for my mistakes and the mistakes I made that have effected others through no fault of their own.

I have always tried to be all I can be to the best of my ability. I try very had to be positive. When I feel negative, I kick the crap out of my negative feeling and look for the positive.

I like my self. I have a great deal of self satisfaction. I do things to satisfy myself. I don't need a pat on the back from others.

I'm kind and I care about others more than I care about myself.

Try to discipline yourself in order to build good memories.

First you need to like the person but you should by all means be persnickety. Persnickety means: showing and requiring extremely careful treatment. When choosing a mate you should be particular, choosy, finicky, fussy, meticulous, and be nice. You will know when that right person comes into your life. As your relationship grows and as you go through life together that is when the love begins to grow. This should be the most glorious time of your life but only if you are both right for each other and are best friends. So remember to be persnickety.

We fall in love and courtship is a glorious time that we will never again experience. We marry. We are young and become as one and begin a continual, journey through life as mortals. Life comes around just once here on earth and then one day when we have reached our destination, this earth stops long enough to let us off.

We need to be true to our self and we need to allow SELF to love life. I respect myself. If we don't have respect for our self, then no one else will respect us.

I do love life. I hope that maybe there are some words of inspiration here for you. I don't want it to sound easy because you have to work at it everyday.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away.”

“Be your own best friend and don’t forget to wink at yourself now and then.”
Diane von Furstenburg

The way I made my life more enjoyable was by changing my attitude to a more positive one. Try to find some good in every situation. In 1998 the rug was pulled out from under my life and I didn't want to go on living. Then after a while I was shown some of the positives that had been in my life. More positive things started to happen. There were some negatives happening but I tried to find good even in them. In 2005 a big positive happened and there was some negative attached to it but I decided to show the people that were being negative and we did (my daughter and I) and from there more positive things have happened. It has been peppered with negatives. Like I had uterine cancer but I beat it so there is a positive in it. Good Luck.

help other (volunteer?), learn a new skill/sport/language, meet more people through organizations/sports, be more positive : recognize your bad moods and don't judge yourself or your friends/others when you're down or PMSing. Be nice to your parents and elders. Save some $, eat better, don't smoke or do unhealthy things. Exercise!! that is THE best mood lifeter :)

Help others, live out your childhood dreams, accept yourself for who you are, turn your negative thoughts into positive ones.

try doing new things, have some new experiences. stop and sniff the flowers.. take time to appreciate what you have.

because what usually happens to help us appreciate the good is a bad event.

so go on, make new friends, find a new hobby, go someone different.
