Why the Simpsons mive got a big succesful althought it is 2D cartoon?

why don't u ask that why this film attracted many people all over the world? As u see, it's not only a cartoon for children but also giving anyone who has watched it will relax and feel warm and happy because of its content 'bout family. I think these reasons are enough to make this film sucess. Do u agree with me? Thanks!

It is not about 2D or 3D. It is about the story, production, script and the talent of the characters.
People who not fooled by the animation. If the movie does NOT entertain, then the movie loses the audience. Case in point is Shrek 3. Everyone I talked to said that it was rather disappointing after the first two.

Because of the characters, story. A lot of people has grown up with the simpsons and the movie did not dissapoint. One of the funniest movies this year.

Becouse its funny as hell, u should watch it. I watched it in theaters and bought it. I think its like the longest running cartoon or something..
