Anyone else find the whole tiger mauling those 3 men kind of funny?

I mean it's karma at work.

All 3 were reported as trouble makers (nothing serious, just annoyances) and they were taunting the tiger before it mauled them.

Maybe I'm just sick in the head but it's kind of funny.

Oh I'm not making fun of the death or anything like that but the whole situation.

The guys were being ******* and somehow by the powers of the universe, a tiger got out and mauled them.

there is nothing funny about it the guys, if they were taunting the tiger were very stupid and that is the result of it
but a beautiful animal has also been destroyed , he didnt ask to be stuck in a zoo, and the zoo should have made sure the enclosure was sufficient that it could not happen
plus i have seen other animals taunted at zoo,s and have no respect for people that do this they should be ashamed

I agree it was karma at work. Tigers are tigers, and to taunt a wild animal that is tha big, is well just stupid. Guess they'll think twice before doing something along those lines ever again, *chuckles and shakes head* they were that dumb, they deserved it, it called respect, human or animal. I do feel terrible about the animal though, it should have been better protected and it was only following its natural instincts. Yes I understand bear maulings are horrible, we've had quite a few mountain lion maulings here in NoDak over the past year, but this was in a zoo not the wild, or a national park. THAT should be taken into consideration.

Tigers are both the most beautiful and the most dangerous animals of all and anyone who does not take the utmost care of looking after zoo tigers is very much at risk. The tiger does what comes naturally and this should be obvious. Of course it's dreadful for the victim and his family but it seems that due care was not taken and the tiger should certainly not have been put down because of human error, however tragic the results.

It was said that these 3 count em 3 teenage boys were taunting the tiger.

Now I know that a cat and a tiger are different but they're very much the same. My cat was born in captivity, I think this tiger was too. Now my cat was scared to leave the house, this tiger was in a cage, got fed and taken care of on a daily basis!!!

I think its sad that these kids just dont listen!!!! Once i heard teenage boys I thought they provoked it! Think about it... to alll the men out there.... As a teenager: how did you spend those "im bored" days???

My sympathies to the family....

But one question to the parents... Why were your kids at the zoo on Christmas day? and where were you??

I lived in an area of large animals, Bears, getting mauled by something that you believe is actually going to eat you is not funny.
To think of an animal this big and your helpless, is horrible.

Nup, no death is funny and it's even less funny that the tiger had to be put down. It was only doing what tigers do after all.

It's not funny and if you think it is, you are sick in the head. One other think, it hasn't been proved that they were taunting the tiger it's all speculation at this point in time.

Not many people on this earth deserve that kind of death or experience, and no animal deserves to be caged and then killed.There are many funny things that happen in life, this is not one of them.
