how many times have you literally been speechless to where you couldnt talk at all?

I was proposed to by one of my best guy friends and he meant it. I was speechless. Then I had to turn him him down because he was atheist and I was a Christian. He never spoke to me again.

Quite a few. Sometimes when I'm totally caught off gaurd and I can't think of what to say or think of a good excuse I get speechless and even thought I try, nothing comes out.
Once when I was a kid some scary punker dude said "hi" and I couldn't speak. When he asked me for my name I said "hi". Delayed reaction, I guess.
Another time when I was a kid my closet swung open by itself and I got so scared I couldn't scream for help.
