Their New year is based on the Lunar calendar. Ours is just on the same day each year. Work it out. 365 days in a year? Then every 4th year we have 366?? Who is right???

new year eve mean the day before new year...
but normally chinese not celebrate the new year eve or new year as we celebrate the Chinese New Year..
why do u dont know the Chinese New Year Really is??
Chinese New Year is on 7th February, 08 next year..

if you're a chinese, you'd know. chinese people celebrate chinese new year on a different date. that's part of their culture and tradition.
btw, chinese new year will be on feb 7 2008

They do! I was in Beijin last yr for New Yrs Eve and OH MY WORD! The fireworks they did for that eve I've never seen anywhere in this world.
