It depends from time you want to spend there, are you a tourist or you will work there?
My guess is that you are planing to stay for a while in Kosovo, so you;ll have enough time to visit all interesting places there.
Climate is continental, in winter it;s cold, spring is full of raining days, summer and autumn are hot. Food is great, not that expensive either.People are friendly and kind, with a lot of problems assuming that it;s post war state with undefined future, but you;ll find out you can count on them for every help you may need.

Well, Grand Hotel is in the center of Prishtina, and you have a lot of restaurants (american as well) at Tri-Sheshirat (sounds like tree sheshee-rat) and in Dardania.
They don't have electric power most of the day, so they all use portable power generators.

They have no genetically engineered food, so tomato, peppers, unions taste a lot stronger than here. Beef and white cheese from Kosovo mountains is very very good but hard to find.

January is cold, and there may not be any perception until march.

The currency is Euro.
Official languages are: Albanian, Serbian and English
Timezone is UTC +1

Enjoy the trip :)

Kosovo is NOT a country. It is part of Serbia. And you better don't go to Kosovo because since KFOR moved into it,it has become a very dangerous place.

I wouldn't go there unless absolutely necessary.
Climate is as everywhere on Balkan, you get four seasons, with sometimes lots of snow, sometimes none during winter time.
Food is good! kind of spicy, but very tasty. Bograc, gulaz, Rostilj food(BBQ), and do not forget to try Albanian Burek, it's kind of like Spanish burrito, but with a very good dough, and different stuff in it like meat or cheese or potato or a cabbage or all together:)
Enjoy and be safe - Serbs are pissed of because West is supporting Albanian people...check newspapers...

Hello I live in Albania, food isn't bad, but not like the tasty food of Albania, well the majority of the people are friendly. In summer in Kosovo is hot while in winter it's cold.
